The Convent is a heritage estate near Pokolbin, set in a former convent dating to 1876, with manicured gardens, verandas and picturesque grounds. The Convent, together with its Circa 1876 restaurant and reception spaces, seats up to 150 guests across the estate.
Ceremony spots include the Circa Garden with its white pews and the Convent Fountain as a natural focal point, and each comes with a signing table, chairs and an alternate wet-weather plan.
Reception locations range across Circa 1876, a historic cottage with chandeliers, exposed timber beams and rustic charm, and the enclosed Circa 1876 Alfresco with views over the vineyards and kitchen gardens. The estate's gardens, heritage architecture, fountain, and vineyard surrounds provide beautiful backdrops for wedding photography throughout the day.
Onsite guestrooms let you and your guests stay on the estate, making it easy to extend the celebration into a relaxed wedding weekend.
Spicers Guesthouse pairs contemporary design with a warm, welcoming feel, set among native bushland and open grounds in the heart of Pokolbin.
The Tallawanta Room seats up to 120 guests, or around 150 for a cocktail reception, with its own bar, veranda and bi-fold doors onto a vine-edged terrace. The Lovedale Pavilion opens through glass doors onto green lawns and carries a high-pitched, white-beamed ceiling, giving high ceilings and room for a dance floor. As a guest house with 49 rooms and a four-bedroom cottage, it holds enough onsite accommodation for larger celebrations and a full wedding weekend.
Couples can host guests across the property's beautiful event spaces, éRemo Restaurant, bar, and lounge, creating a seamless experience from welcome drinks through to a farewell breakfast.
The expansive grounds, contemporary architecture and surrounding bushland also provide a variety of settings for wedding photography. Indoor and outdoor spaces cover both the ceremony and the wedding reception, and tailored packages include exclusive use of the property.
Spicers Vineyards Estate sits among some of Australia's oldest vines, with an eight-acre private vineyard and views towards the Brokenback Range. It is the most intimate of the three, well suited to small weddings, elopements and micro weddings, with outdoor ceremonies held among the gumtrees and peppertrees, or with the rolling vines as a backdrop.
Restaurant Botanica seats up to 60 guests for a dinner reception or 90 for cocktails, the standalone Vineyards House is available with its own pool, and the Harvest Room seats up to 12 for the smallest gatherings.
Exclusive use makes the entire estate yours with no other guests onsite, and the vineyard rows, mountain views, and estate grounds provide stunning locations for wedding photography. The twelve guest rooms, along with a spa suite for the wedding night, keep the entire stay on the one property.

Discover our heritage and rustic, contemporary garden, and intimate vineyard estate wedding settings. Venues vary widely by style, guest capacity and budget, so most couples start by picturing the size and feel of the day. Vineyard views and mountain views frame the grounds, and the established gardens, garden paths and open outdoor space give a wedding photographer plenty to work with.

Guest count and style are usually the first things couples weigh. The largest reception across the three venues seats about 150 guests, and the smallest suits an elopement, so the choice usually comes down to size and feel. All three offer tailored wedding packages, some close to all-inclusive, that scale by guest numbers and budget.
Intimate options suit micro-weddings and elopements, with Spicers Vineyards Estate built for the smallest celebrations among the vines. Larger celebrations are at home at The Convent and Spicers Guesthouse, both of which scale to full receptions with onsite accommodation for the wedding party and guests.
