At Spicers Peak Lodge, we are committed to providing an inclusive and comfortable environment for all our guests. Accessible rooms

Our accessible room is carefully crafted to provide ease of movement and convenience.

We offer one dedicated accessible room equipped with the following features to ensure comfort and ease of use for all guests:

  • Full wheelchair access
  • Wider doorways: Facilitates easy movement of wheelchairs and walkers.
  • Grab bars: Strategically placed in the bathroom for added stability.

While this room is fully accessible, we also offer other rooms with partial accessibility features. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Accessibility in public areas

  • Same-level access: Most public areas are on the ground floor and on the same level as the accessible room, including the lobby, lounge, restaurant, and bar.
  • Wheelchair access: Available to all guest areas with the exception of the mezzanine floor (the pool table, library, and lookout).

While we are committed to accessibility and strive to meet all our guests’ needs, we currently do not have wheelchair-accessible bathroom facilities available for external guests. We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist with any other requirements you may have.

FOOD & BEVERAGE OUTLETS

Our dining areas are located on the same floor as the accessible room, ensuring easy access.

POOL ACCESS

Spicers Peak Lodge has a beautiful pool for guests to enjoy. However, please note that there are no wheelchair access or hoist facilities available at the pool. Guests who require assistance are encouraged to speak with our staff, who are available to provide support as needed.

ASSISTANCE DOGS

We welcome assistance dogs and ensure that they have the necessary accommodations to stay comfortably with their owners.

Service and culture

We place great emphasis on training our staff in accessibility awareness and inclusive service. Our team members receive ongoing training to ensure they are knowledgeable about accessibility requirements and are ready to assist guests with any special needs or requests. Room tours and specific accessibility training are provided to our restaurant team to ensure they can support all guests effectively.
