Koala Safari
Spicers Hidden Vale is home to a healthy population of koalas that love to doze in the treetops during the day, making them quite difficult to spot... unless you know where to look.
Travel by 4WD into pristine bushland, then walk through the trees with our expert guides for a truly rare and rewarding encounter.

Join our team for a Koala Safari, where you’ll travel by the INEOS Grenadier 4WD into the bushland to an area known to be home to our resident koalas. From there, enjoy a guided walk through the trees, as our expert guides help you tune in to the subtle signs of koala presence. You may even be lucky enough to see a joey or two. This genuine eco-experience is truly unique and not to be missed.
Tours depart from reception in small groups to keep disturbance to a minimum and are subject to availability. Enclosed shoes are essential on the Koala Safari, and long pants are recommended.
SCHEDULE
Tours run twice daily, at 9:30am and 2:30pm.
Please note we do not guarantee sightings, as the koalas are living in their natural habitat. We do, however, have a high rate of success in spotting them and hope you enjoy the wonderful experience in nature.
