At Spicers Hidden Vale, we are committed to providing an inclusive and comfortable environment for all our guests. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the beauty of our 12,000-acre retreat, and we strive to ensure our facilities are accessible to guests with diverse needs.

Accessible rooms
We offer two dedicated accessible room types, designed to blend our signature country luxury with thoughtful, practical features:
- Accessible Luxury Cabin: A private timber cabin featuring a separate lounge with a stone fireplace, an accessible entrance ramp, and a spacious ensuite with a roll-in shower and handrails.
- Accessible King Room: Located within Belmont Cottage, this room features a shared guest entrance with a fireplace and an ensuite bathroom updated with accessible features and handrails.
Key in-room features:
- Wider doorways for easy movement of wheelchairs and walkers
- Roll-in showers with no-step entry
- Strategically placed grab bars in showers and near toilets
- Twin bedding configurations available upon request.
Accessibility in public areas & DINING
We have made every effort to ensure our heritage property is easy to navigate:
- Level Access: Most of our main public areas, including reception, the pool area, and the Laidley Room, are located on the same level.
- Dining: Our award-winning Homage Restaurant and The Barn are fully accessible, featuring wide dining spaces and ramp access where required.
- Assistance: We provide golf buggy transfers on request to assist guests in moving between their rooms and the main Homestead.
POOL ACCESS
While our pools are on a level surface with sunloungers, please note that we do not currently have hoist facilities. Our team is available to provide manual assistance where possible.
ASSISTANCE DOGS
Certified assistance dogs are welcome across the property and in all dining areas.
PARKING
Complimentary accessible parking is available with proximity to the main entrance.
Service and culture
We place great emphasis on training our staff in accessibility awareness and inclusive service. Our team members receive ongoing training to ensure they are knowledgeable about accessibility requirements and are ready to assist guests with any special needs or requests. Room tours and specific accessibility training are provided to our restaurant team to ensure they can support all guests effectively.
