Step into the kitchen and experience the quiet confidence of French cooking at The Tamarind Cooking School. Guided by a Spicers chef, this hands‑on class invites guests to explore classic techniques, regional flavours and the subtle artistry that defines traditional French cuisine.

The morning unfolds slowly and deliberately — cooking, tasting and learning before gathering to enjoy the dishes you’ve created, paired with a matching wine. Set within the lush surroundings of Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny, it’s an experience shaped by flavour, connection and the pleasure of taking time over food.

Our talented Tamarind chefs will take you through simple yet traditional techniques that you can easily replicate at home. Enjoy flavours from different regions of France and learn subtle hints and tips to achieve the best from your ingredients.

Time: 11:00am - 3:00pm

Cooking classes start at 11am and starting from $225 per person.

The class includes lunch, one glass of wine, an apron to take home and a recipe book with all the dishes you cooked so you can recreate them at home.

Class runs from 11am to 3pm for selected event dates.
