Accessible rooms

Our accessible rooms are carefully crafted to provide ease of movement and convenience.

We offer two dedicated accessible rooms equipped with the following features to ensure comfort and ease of use for all guests:

• Elevator access: Available for easy entry to accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
• Roll-in showers: Spacious showers with no step entry and grab bars for support.
• Grab bars: Strategically placed along the bathroom walls.
• Pull-down wardrobe, low-level wall hooks, and low-level minibar: Designed to be easily reachable, providing convenient access for individuals with mobility or height limitations.
• Other accessible in-room features: Folding shower seat, pull-cord shower head, lever-activated shower mixer, low towel rails, toilet back support, and accessible wall-mounted vanity.

Accessibility in public areas

• Main building: Our reception, dining area, guest lounge, and bar are all located on the same level. Additional function spaces have accessible lift and/or ramp access.
• Ambulant and accessible toilets: We offer dedicated wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, as well as ambulant-accessible facilities
• Accessible car park: We have 4 accessible car spaces at the front entrance.

FOOD & BEVERAGE OUTLETS

Our restaurant éRemo has a wheelchair-friendly floorplan, dedicated wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and accessible car spaces.

POOL ACCESS

Spicers Guesthouse has a beautiful pool with wheelchair access for guests to enjoy. However, please note that there are no hoist facilities available at the pool. Guests who require assistance are encouraged to speak with our staff, who are available to provide support as needed.

ASSISTANCE DOGS

We welcome assistance dogs and ensure that they have the necessary accommodations to stay comfortably with their owners.

Service and culture

We place great emphasis on training our staff in accessibility awareness and inclusive service. Our team members receive ongoing training to ensure they are knowledgeable about accessibility requirements and are ready to assist guests with any special needs or requests. Room tours and specific accessibility training are provided to our restaurant team to ensure they can support all guests effectively.
